Meet Ryan and Heidi Sawyer a husband and wife coaching team with a passion for personal growth and excellence. Their mission is to inspire, educate, and to encourage others to integrate what they’re learning individually and by doing so, foster more connected relationships and thriving organizations and communities.

 

Their journey into growth together began when their marriage and family was on the verge of breaking. It was during this difficult time that they each recognized the parts that they were playing in the story of their lives and decided to consciously choose something different.  Through their individual growth journeys, they found each other again and also embarked upon a shared mission to help others transform their lives, families, and relationships by sharing the tools that have helped them. 

Ryan and Heidi are both certified Unbeatable Mind coaches and Q Process facilitators. They enjoy working with men and women both individually and in group coaching or workshop settings. 

They have taken inspiration from many great teachers and mentors along the way, they've drawn wisdom through personal experiences and from dozens of experts and resources in the field of personal transformation to create  IHP Coaching.  

 

The IHP (Integrated Human Performance) approach guides and supports you as your journey unfolds.  In the initial stages, you will acquire tools and knowledge that, if you are committed, will create a solid foundation and ensure your transformation. 

Ryan and Heidi understand first-hand that life can present challenges we'd never expected or prepared for but it's not what happens to us in life, it's how we choose to react and who we are being in each moment that creates our personal experience.  

 

When we choose to invest in our own growth and healing we create a ripple effect that changes generations to come.

Meet Ryan Sawyer

Ryan is a certified Unbeatable Mind Coach,

Q Process facilitator, Kokoro Yoga Instructor, and speaker.

 

He's a former National Champion Collegiate football coach, owner of a thriving painting business, and a devoted husband and father.  Starting long before sunrise, Ryan begins his dedicated daily meditation and yoga practices in the relentless pursuit of his own continued personal transformation.  

 

He is driven to help others one their path to self-realization and unlocking their 20x potential.

Ryan's Story of Transformation 

I had achieved my childhood dream of becoming a National Champion collegiate football coach had excelled at it for many years.

 

That is, until one day the anxiety and depression I’d battled my entire life in secret, finally threatened to destroy my marriage, my relationship with my children, and my very life.

 

I had to make the hardest decision of my life.  I left football coaching career and began my journey of personal transformation.

I was able to overcome my struggles with anxiety and depression and create a version of myself that is excited and motivated to wake up and get to work every single day. 

I've studied extensively and had many mentors which have helped me acquire the tools to transform myself, my career, and my family life. 

 

It has become my calling and mission to share what I've learned with others.

Meet Heidi Sawyer

Certified Unbeatable Mind Coach, Q Process Facilitator, and speaker.

 

Her mission is to help those who want to discover new ways of thinking and being in the story of their lives because they know they are here to make a difference in the world.

 

She considers her role as a coach to provide you with the tools, accountability, and guidance to confidently and authentically step into your own unique power and purpose so you can start taking aligned action with your goals and live life on your own terms. 

Heidi's Story of Transformation 

As an adolescent, I learned to cope with my insecurities and hide from my feelings by using buffers. Overeating, crash dieting, over-exercising, shopping, and constant change were my distractions of choice.

 

I developed a strong inner critic (I call her the inner mean girl) and I did many things to appease her, operating out of a place of fear and lack.

 

Through my journey of personal growth, I discovered that the source of much of my suffering was my own thinking. 

Today I have the honor of helping others learn to look inward, trust their inner wisdom, and let go of thoughts and beliefs that are no longer serving them.

 

I believe a big part of my success as a coach and educator is due to the fact that I can relate to what others are going through and help them to see different perspectives. 

 

You are always just one decision away from a totally different experience of life.

Breath

Learn the proper breath mechanics to improve your mental and physical performance while reducing stress.

Breathwork refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques. People often perform them to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork, you intentionally change your breathing pattern.

Q Process

Improve your relationships starting with the most important relationship you have- the one you have with yourself. The Mindfulness Center in Southern Maine identifies the five core skills of mindfulness as:

  • Clarifying, setting and reaffirming intention: What am I practicing?

  • Cultivating a witnessing awareness: developing meta-cognition, state awareness, and practicing outer non-reactivity while witnessing the inner landscape;

  • Stabilizing Attention: staying focused, placing attention on your intention;

  • Strengthening Self-Regulation: settling negative energy intentionally, bringing the whole brain back online; and

  • Practicing Loving Kindness: calming the inner critic and self-judgment, practicing non-judgmental awareness and kindness and compassion for yourself and others.
